Brazil Sul de Minas
Poco Fundo is a small group of farmers located in Minas
Gerais, Sul de Minas, southeastern Brazil. The Cooperative
was established in 1991, when 76 families united to reduce
poverty and improve the standard of living for their
families. Poco Fundo began exporting to the United States in
2003 and through organic and fair trade certification, the
Coop has been able to expand healthcare programs for
members, implement better education programs for their
children and increase the quality of life for its members.
The Cooperative is 60% organic, certified by BCS. There are
over 90 members that produce about 15 containers per year.

Cup Characteristics: Floral aroma, velvety body, smooth,
sweet acidity, complex berry notes and tangerine,
well-balanced cup.
