El Salvador Monterey
El Salvadorian coffee growing region contributes to the
preservation of many local and migratory bird species. The
Monterey Estate, one of the Cofinanzas Estates, is located
in Tacuba, Ahuachapan and has been in the Batres-Bendix
family for three generations. The Estate is located near the
El Imposible National Park, where over 500 species of
butterflies, almost 300 species of birds and 30 species of
mammals take refuge. Monterey is a 100% Organic Bourbon
Estate and its coffee production is about 600 bags per year.
The combination of rich volcanic soil and a near perfect
coffee growing climate produce a coffee with a beautiful
coffee.
