Brian Speckman joined the InterAmerican Coffee trading team in February of 2008.

He began his coffee career in 1991 as a barista in the California Bay Area. He moved to Seattle in 1995 and began roasting coffee for a Large Specialty retailer/wholesaler company based there. After years of roasting and cupping he was named Master Roaster and Green Coffee buyer. Brian has developed and implemented quality control programs for roasting, grinding and packaging and has intimate knowledge of drum roasting and packaging equipment. He is based at InterAmerican's Pleasant Hill office in Northern Californina.

When not working at InterAmerican Brian can be found working on and riding vintage "café" motorcycles, playing music and drinking coffee.
